I am a Florida-based freelance photographer documenting people's movements around the state. About two years ago, I started taking my camera out to the streets to document people protesting, organizing, fighting for a better world. Photographers like Gordon Parks and Palestinian journalists like Fatma Hassona and Hossam Shabat have informed a lot of my philosophy around photography and using a camera as a tool (and sometimes a weapon) to illuminate truths and stories that often remain hidden or intentionally untold.
